CONDITIONS FOR PRODUCTS ON TRIAL

We, as professionals of the instrument, obviously understand that, when purchasing a new barrel, clarinetists need to try it out, before purchasing it and, if possible, compare it with others so as to be able to choose the one that adapts best to their needs.

For this reason, Arixa Clarinets offer the possibility of trying out a maximum of three barrels, from either Soloist, Orchestra or the Ensemble models.

Any barrels constructed following the customer’s personal specifications (Handcrafted models) are not available on trial.

*During the shopping process, you should select the number of barrels you wish to purchase and also the characteristics (clarinet manufacturer, model, type of wood, size) and click on the Buy button.

Once you receive the barrels, you have fifteen working days, from the date of receipt, to try them out and return the ones you decide not to purchase, within the stated period of time. 

In the case of returning trial barrels, you will receive a refund through the same payment method used to purchase them  within a period of 30 working days from the date of receipt of the parcel at our workshop (once the cost for postage and packing of the first delivery has been deducted, in the case of returning all the barrels on trial). On receipt, they will be carefully inspected and checked for any possible damage.  Products damaged on trial will not be refunded and will be returned to the purchaser.

*Non purchased barrels should be returned in their original packaging, together with a copy of the original delivery note and a list of the products you are returning. Please include your name and return address details on the box and send it to:

*If you are sending the parcel from a non EU country that generates Customs duties, please make sure to label the box with the following message:

"Musical Instrument Parts Being Returned to Manufacturer. No Commercial Value." 

It is very important to follow these recommendations in order to avoid unnecessary Customs charges. Should these not be followed and unnecessary charges be presented to Arixa Clarinets on receiving a return consignment, these would be passed onto you and the refund for the products returned will not be made until the pending charges have been settled.

 

POSTAGE & PACKING COSTS

*These are free on all online orders. Nevertheless, in the case of returning all the products on trial, the customer will be charged, for the cost of postage and packing of the first delivery as follows: 15€ for Spanish orders , 30€ for orders placed from any EU country and 50€ for the ones that are placed from a country outside the EU. For the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, the amount charged is 30€. Customs and tax charges are always to be paid by the customer.

*The postage & packing costs for the return of trial products are always paid for by the customer and are the customer’s responsibility until they are received by Arixa Clarinets. Therefore, we strongly recommend you choose a dispatching method that has package tracking.

*NOTE

All these terms and conditions are applicable to all online orders, but they may alter in the case of purchasing from an authorised Arixa Clarinets distributor.

DELIVERY PERIOD

As we are an artisanal non mass-producing workshop, and due to high demand, we have an estimated delivery period of three weeks. This delivery time is not applicable to the Handcrafted model, as this requires a close collaboration between clarinetist and craftsman prior to the construction of the barrel. This delivery period is lengthened by the time required by the transport company, approximately 3 to 6 working days for EU countries and variable for the rest of countries.

 

GUARANTEE

All our products have a one year guarantee, from the date of purchase.

This guarantee includes cracking and/or manufacturing defects.

The guarantee excludes damages produced by normal wear and tear, and/or incorrect use, manipulation and maintenance.

The postage & packing costs for a replacement will be covered by Arixa Clarinets. Customs and tax charges are always for the customer’s account.

Arixa Clarinets reserves the right to determine whether one of their products is covered or not under their guarantee.

Should the customer present a claim within the period covered by the guarantee, the purchase invoice should be sent by email, together with a fully-detailed description of the problem, to Arixa Clarinets. Once the documentation is received, Arixa Clarinets will study it and will reply to the customer. Following that, if pertinent, the return process for the replacement of the product begins. The parcel should include a copy of the purchase invoice. Please include your name and return address details on the box and send it to:

You agree that the law governing the operation of this service is Spanish. Any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of these provisions shall be the responsibility of the Courts of the consumer. If Customers outside the Spanish state courts competent are those of Menorca.
